25 years ago, LandSolutions was founded to help address a growing need for land and property experts in Western Canada’s energy sector.

What started as a humble vision quickly evolved, revealing opportunities to expand both the scope of our work and the geographies we were working in. This vision was underpinned by a clear intent: to create an environment that worked for a variety of experienced professionals, even as their personal and professional priorities shifted.

Offering flexible career paths was something we did that enabled people to contribute to a wide range of critical projects, whether it be through permanent, part-time, or project-based roles. It created a way to access some of the best resources in the industry, and it helped to set the company on the right path.

When I look at the business today, I see the fruits of 25 years of effort. What started small in size and reach has grown to support a wide range of industry sectors in geographies across Canada and the United States.

With growth has come complexity and great opportunity to elevate. Things are more structured but remain entrepreneurial. The company is large but maintains a close-knit culture. The work is complex, but the team finds passion in it. There is pride in where we have been and excitement about where we can be next.

We are fortunate for our people, clients, and peers who have continuously placed their trust in us. As we celebrate our 25th year, we celebrate all of you and look forward with ambition to our mission—to elevate ourselves, our clients, and the industries we serve.
